My paintings come from a combination of chance and choice. Images begin to resonate with me as I paint or create mixed media pieces, alluding to natural phenomena or abstract concepts which dictate the final outcome.
I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and have spent most of my adult life in Los Angeles California. I received a B.A. in Art History from UCLA. I live and work in the Silver Lake area. Besides my family and friends, my other interests include sewing, gardening, reading and over 30 years of classical ballet classes.
